Hola DAYANA, como estas mama? sorry i couldnt get back to you sooner...im so sorry your father doesnt understand the importance of an education...es muy muy importante mama...tu lo sabes....dont let enyone tell you differently...no importa que se tu papa...has lo que tengas que hacer para ir parta la escuela chica, y cuando estes hay pay attention, do all your work and them some...tu futuro depende en eso...and as far as you wanting to become a producer, thats awsome mama. You can do what ever you set out to do....i believe in you.....

YASMIN......hey how you doing? im bord i have nothing to do i dont have a job i need one cuz i have no mone at all so hey..if ur hiring anybody im here ok LOL....i will go all the way over there juss to work if u hire me ....n tambien i want to meet u seem really cool me caes muy bien y tengo muchas ganas de conocerte i wan tto be like you .... y tambien quiero ser productora de un programa n i want to prove my dad that i can become wat i want n find a job for wat i worked but he thinks i cant he doesnt want me to study he says why ? that there is no need to study cuz later we cant find a jod ....so i want to prove him wrong i want him que se quede con la boca abierta whenb he sees me on tv which i hope i can do it i act all stong in front of my dad but later when he is gone i cry...n cry cuz im scared i cant do it n not going to be able to do it.... plizz give me some advises ok need you r help....dayana

Dayana, your dad doesn't have all the facts. Twenty years ago, having a college degree didn't really make much of a difference in terms of wages (what you get paid.) Today, it adds $20,000 a year to your salary.

Check it out: if you're a Latina and you don't have a High School diploma, you'll make about $20,000 a year. If you have that high school degree, you'll make $24,000. If you have some college, you can make $31,000. And if you have a full college degree, you'll make $40,000 per year.

Think about that – no high school, $20k. Full college: $40k. If you're a Latina.

Now, if you're a white male you make about $50k with the same college degree but let's not talk about that right now. First, let's get that college degree.
