Querido Diario,
I am a city girl, 100 percent, all the way. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love going to DR and staying at my daddy’s house with all the horses, chicken, pigs, donkeys, and the other 50 thousand animals he has there. Pero, at the end of the day, buildings, skyscrapers and crowded crosswalks is where it’s at. That’s just me.
Could you imagine Crash and I camping? Lol...I know, funny...not really realistic, pero en este caso, nada puede ser more realistic. Nosotras decidimos ir de camping con Renato y Mauricio – que error, no, mejor dicho, que horror. So, we drive all the way up to the mountains to meet up with the boys for a night out in the wilderness. Tell me why, when we get there, they are nowhere to be found. They left a note saying, "We’ll be back soon," and a bunch of camping gear I had no idea how to use.
Crash and I became like park rangers, we put up a tent, although it took great effort. We started a fire, with even greater effort – no, not that kind of fire, a campfire – and we cooked a full meal. I was so proud of us. We were there for three to four hours y los muchachos were still nowhere to be found. We called their cell phones a couple of times y nada. Nos estábamos preocupando. Well, to make a long story short, boys are stupid (just kidding)...lol. Renato y Mauricio were yanking our chains all along. Aside from that, Crash and I had a wild time (no pun intended). We learned that we aren’t such bad wilderness chicas...lol.
