Querido diario,
Fast-paced merengue, passionate bachata, spicy salsa, and heart-warming vallenato is what I grew up listening to at home. Mike – Sexy Director of Production Management at mun2, lol – asked Crash and I to introduce Los Razos during one of their shows, so I decided to get more acquainted with their style of music.
After watching their videos and listening to their music, I saw that norteño is to México what merengue is to the Dominican Republic – I can get down with that.
So, Crash and I headed to Riverside to meet Los Razos and prepare to introduce them.
Meeting them was cool. They were really funny. There were so many of them though...lol...I didn't know what to do with myself. They even taught us how to shake our bum bums to norteño. They were pros at it. It was fun, but I couldn't quite get it. Something about the little hop just didn't mesh well with my skills...lol. They sang to us, too. I've never been serenaded like that before...lol...it was beautiful.
Bueno, resulta que ellos terminaron preguntándonos to go on stage with them to dance. I immediately said to myself: "Wait, this is not what Mike said." They even gave us wardrobe. Ellos nos dieron unos corsets bien, bien, apretados para subirnos al escenario que ellos puestos. Pero igual, we couldn't say no to them – no con esas caritas...lol. So, we ended up introducing and performing with them...lol. It was definitely something else...lol. It was great to see the way they party.
