Yasmin: DUB Makeover

Querido Diario,

I know a thing or two about cars, but I'm certainly not a whiz – I can appreciate a nice looking car when I see one. So, when Crash and I had to go to Miami, we decided to go to the DUB car convention to check some rides out. It was wild to see how tricked out those cars were. It made Crash and I want to hook Camie (our Toyota Camry) up. We were in luck because we got a chance to meet Miles, the founder of DUB. Who better than him to have "hookear" a Camie? El fue súper chévere con nosotras y nos propuso que nos encontráramos en California para ponerse a trabajar. We were so excited!!!!! Entonces, vino el día de llevar a Camie a DUB. Conocimos a los muchachos que nos iban a ayudar con la transformación. We gave Miles a bunch of our ideas and he basically told us what he could and could not do. We decided on tints and graphic designs (I think that's what they are called). After painting Miles a picture of what our vision for Camie was, we decided to head out and have some lunch. Pero Miles stopped us in our tracks and told us we were supposed to help out his team. We were as surprised as you are right now – I had no idea what I was going to be doing. And hey, I didn't want to be the one to ruin Camie. It all came out beautiful at the end of the day, and Camie looked great. It was actually pretty fun to get our hands dirty fixing our carrito up. I was proud of Crash and I, and now every time I look at her, it reminds me of all our labor...lol...which is very cool.
