Los Razos

Every so often, Yaz and I gotta go to work and promote Chicas together, and that’s exactly what we did today. Were chillin' at the mun2 studios doing some work. So, we're doing our thing, when Mike, director of production management for mun2, asks Yaz and I if we would like to introduce this norteño band called Los Razos for one of their shows. Of course, we said "yeah," because it sounded like fun. The damn club was all the way in Riverside – which totally sucked because with traffic, it took us pretty much a lil' over two hours to get there!! I can't stand to be in a car that long because I always get car sick...blah. We get to the club and meet the guys...wow...what can I say...I felt like I was with family...lol!! Especially because these dudes totally looked like some of my uncles...no joke. They were a lil' rough around the edges, I guess you could say...but, hey, so am I. Then, all of a sudden, while I was enjoying my chips and salsa, they asked if we would like to fill in as there dancers...because their dances got lost or something like that. I don’t really do the whole dancing thing. I'm much more of a dance-at-home-when-nobody’s-looking person. So, I wasn’t thrilled by their wonderful idea. They gave us some corsets to wear – watch out – and then we waited. I hate waiting around for crap like that because I just get more nervous as time passes. Soon enough, the show started and we were on stage. Things didn’t really go like we had planned due to the fact the singer of the band was all about his fans. Everyone else was just more into each other to even give a rat's ass that we were there...lol. So in the end, it was all good because nobody even paid any attention to the fact that I was dancing like a fool!
