Yasmin Deliz left home at sixteen for Cali to pursue her music career. By that time, she was already a world traveler, having been born in Caracas, Venezuela and growing up in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Yasmin spoke only Spanish until fourth grade. Early on, she listened to Gloria Estefan, Selena, and José José. When she went into entertainment, her parents were both supportive, although each gave her a warning. Her mother insisted that Yasmin finish school and her father cautioned against getting knocked up. She listened and has her rap record deal.
Yasmin’s been independent for years and wants the same for her girls. “You don’t need a man. It’s a Latina thing. You don’t need no man. Us women are just as powerful. We can make our own decisions and make our own money.”

Chiica ! how was your halloween ?? What did you do sister ?? Girl ii just dreamed that ii went to LA and you and Crash were filming the Chicas project : Special Halloween and during a break ii told you ii was pregrant and you were surprised and kinda mad and Crash was laughing y apoyandome.. hahaah crazy : P anyway ii just woke up y pense contartelo aha.. hope all is well : ) miss you.
