Running around, blowing sh*t up with superpowers is nothing new for Dania Ramírez. In 2003, the Dominican beauty made her TV debut as Caridad, a Potential Slayer on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Three years later, the 28-year-old scored a breakout role as the lightning-fast mutant Callisto in X-Men: The Last Stand. Earlier this year, she landed a plum role on the hit NBC show Heroes, playing mysterious Honduran twin Maya Herrera.

A former teen model, Ramírez caught the eye of Spike Lee, who directed her film debut in 25th Hour, alongside Academy award-winners Denzel Washington, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Rosario Dawson. After standout performances in "Buffy" and X-Men, the bilingual actress co-starred in the Nuyorican crime story Illegal Tender and as A.J. Soprano's girlfriend in The Sopranos.

The fresh-faced Ramirez will have a busy 2008, appearing in: The Fifth Commandment, Ball Don't Lie and Brooklyn to Manhattan. The latter, a thriller about a drug deal gone bad, was directed by her husband, the music video whiz Jessy Terrero.
