This week's top story: Marcello Lucero, a 37-year-old immigrant from Ecuador, was killed by seven New York City high school students in an apparent hate crime. Police officials say the group of teens, which includes one Latino, are facing charges of first-degree "gang assault."

oh my god!~people these dayz they see a mexican and so they decide to hurt them or kill them!~it would be the end of the world if we even layed a hand a white person!~i thought i had it bad here at this place but now i know how bad it is around the world!~

man when i first heard this i was in shock, it really hit me hard cuz the guy who was killed was ecuadorean and im ecuadorean...that could have been my mom, my cousins, mis tios, it could have even been ME...the guys who did it, damn there are no words to explain how messed up they are but unfortuantly i know lotsa people like that, un amigo gringo y blanco de mi prima's ex novio would always call her mean names cuz she's latina, he called her house & would tell mi tia to go back to mexico...people are jus ignorant, never be ashamed to be latino because latino is beautiful...

just like evaexotic said, im ecuadorian too and this is an extra slap to the face. its sad that this country is still so ignorant. they think by killing "mexicans" they are helping out the country, but they only make it worse.

I just don't get people why so much hate really when all those immigrants are helping their country to grow. They are just so selfish and jealous get over it we're not going anywhere!
I just want to know why so much hate, what possessed these teens to kill some one and watch someone suffer why b/c he is not white. What is white its just a color the human has and its exactly what these ignorant ass holes and those other feeble minded airhead sons of bitchez that think alike fail to realize. Little by little we are going from the minorities to becoming the majority especially in New York. If everyone would educate and interact themselves with different cultures everyone would see how beautiful everyones differences are. As to those seven mother fuckers ... life imprisonment and let them know what jail life is really like!!! May Marcelo's death live not in Infamy.
