This week's top story: Marcello Lucero, a 37-year-old immigrant from Ecuador, was killed by seven New York City high school students in an apparent hate crime. Police officials say the group of teens, which includes one Latino, are facing charges of first-degree "gang assault."

SHAME SHAME SHAME. What kind of people are these? What must their parent's be like.
These people should get charged for murder of courseeeeee. And yes it was a hate crime. That man did absolutely nothing to them and they took his life away. I think the latino was involved to fit in or feel like he was superior than other latinos. But I can't make assumptions on his behalf. It's sad because when we see stories like this we think "Aw how sad." then move on with our lives. But I can only imagine the terror in his face and how scared his family must be now. I hope they are well.
of course it was a hate crime these people killed a innocent person for no reason..... wat the hell is up with people now and days

this fucked up for real. ppl need to learn that evryone is equal. no one is better than anyone. this involves race too.
its sad to see dat we live in sucha diverse country and ppl still seem to be unable to get along w/ other ppl from other cultures...

well i think that those haters should get their butts kicked big time, especially that latino i mean who does he think he is hating on his own kind, how would he like it if a bunch of us latinos got together and ganged up on him!!!!
