I cant belive that this is actually debatable. If anyone can truly believe that Lil Wayne's music is better than Common's is so far out of their league it really isn't funny. Seriously, do some research. Common and others (KRS One) are the reason why we have hip hop today. If it wasnt for revoultionaries like Common, Lil Wayne would be a nobody(which he desreves to be). Lil Wayne is the reason why hip hop has such a horrible reputation and is the reason why the genre has become a sesspool of absolute crap. Common is a poet, a true artist. Lil Wayne is a talentless peice of garbage, oh im sorry i mean "weezy". Ridiculous...

Common. cuz its harder to write and rap about rightousness and truth in a wicked world. its easy to rap about negitive stuff. i would say common because he,s being him self, he cares about the seeds being planted in the heads of the people but wayne (like he said)he,s all about a dolla like 4 quarters. he just tryna get paid. so the ones who say wayne is better r just his victums. who r ignorant to the fact the he cares nuttin about them.i do have respect fa em and his talent is brillant, but be real is he killing or bringing alive. its not the talent its how u use da talent. So its a fact dat COMMON is the best. No dout about it
