i would vote for hilary because she seems to have a good head on her shoulders...i agree with *KITTY*....i am african-american and i think it would be a dumb idea to vote for someone only because he shares your race. the issues are way more important and hilary seems to have the experiance. PLUS WE GET TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE: bill clinton and hilary = ]
thank you

I think We should all think about whats best for our latin community...it does not matter if the president is white, black, purple, red, male,or female or if we personally hate them. We already made a HuGe mistake on voting for Bush, cuz he is truely an a**hole.
We should think about what president will help us solve the biggest problem that us as latinos have..IMMIGRATION. and what will be best for our future.
Thank You....im going for OBAMA-08

Jessica...lets get some things straight...TRUE, Hillary also voted to build the wall, just like Barack Obama, Im not going to deny that, BUT, the difference between both of them is that Obama HAS Mexican and Mexican-American constituents since he's a senator for Illinois and hence a representative of the people of Chicago. Hillary on the other hand, is a senator for New York and truth be told, New York has a small Mexican community compared to Chicago, so her decison to vote yes on the 'wall' doesnt sound so grave to Obama's yes since like I mentioned before, Obama drew support from Illinois' Mexicans/Latinos. Obama probably was in the May 10 march, but the march that truly set everything off nation-wide and which too off here in CHICAGO was the March 10, 2006 march. I didnt see Obama anywhere that day......

Jessica,
Check out our post from last September titled politics: The Democratic hopefuls. One of the categories is called "the Wall" and it lists that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama support a border fence.
Thanks!

Thank you for replying mun2! I think it's great that you are covering the election process for young latinos.
David, Barack Obama DID NOT grow up on the south side of Chicago! He was born in Hawaii and grew up there and in Indonesia I believe.
Kitty: like mun2 said, read the Democratic hopefuls post so that you can see that your beloved HILLARY VOTED FOR THE BORDER FENCE TOO!!!! It's really irresponsible of you and David to make these claims without backing them up. Kitty, where did you read about Obama's stance on welfare? Post the link so that we all can read it!
