don't forget the trips around latin america to get to know el pueblo... manu chao was the pioneer, and calle 13 recently followed suit. ;)

Well guys, just for your information if you dont know el maestro "MANU CHAO" He is the best of the best, Radio bemba, his band is completely unique. La Radiolina was released in the states a couple of weeks ago and it is the # 1 latin album and also the # 1 TOP WORLD ALBUM, with no doubt his music does not have borders and people around the world respect and love his music. Thanks.

These new generation does not know Manu, well the media shows the comercial music only, I do not understand for one reason, Manu with the album "proxima estacion esperanza" sold 3 millions, do you think he does not sell? Of course, he does! what about the live album with radio bemba and CLANDESTINO! awesome album! now La radiolina is one of the best from Manu. All his fans hope to see him with this new material. He is working from many years ago, he speaks French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian...etc just to mention some...He does not need to be shown in the media as all these new guys do, he is just known around the world.
For these calle 13 thing, they must be very proud just to be compared with Manu Chao, estoy seguro que se sienten orgullosos de ser comparados con el, jamas pensaron llegar a serlo.

By the way, once I saw the performance from calle 13 in the grammy or something, this guy voice was awful, sound was so, so..but nothing that professional, there is space for everybody, every genre, ANYTHING. I respect them and their fans, but just to understand manu chao's fans, all of you that do not know him, watch any video or attend one of his concerts, listen to the lyrics, and if we are lucky he will come to the states this year or the next. Thanks.
