Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee, who was traded to Philly earlier in the year by the Cleveland Indians, dominated the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the NLCS. Lee pitched eight shutout innings and struck out 10 as Phildelphia embarrassed the Dodgers 11-0 to take a 2-1 series lead.

Guerrero's game-winning hit was the climax in the Angels' a three-game sweep of the Red Sox. The Angels are now set to face the mighty New York Yankees, who swept the Minnesota Twins, in the American League Championship series.
