In response to pressure from Conmebol, South America's fútbol federation, FIFA has changed its altitude ban from 8,200ft to 9,840 ft. Colombia can now play matches in Bogotá and Ecuador can play in Quito, but Perú is still unable to play in Cuzco, as well as Bolivia, which is banned from playing in La Paz.
