French President Nicolas Sarkozy has offered Mexican President Felipe Calderón help with police training and technology to combat drug traffickers: "We would like to help México resolve this problem which causes so much distress such as insecurity." Sarkozy and Calderón also unveiled a plan to build a $550 million helicopter assembly plant in México.
