Does LMFAO ever sleep? The L.A.-based dance duo have opened 2009 rockin' parties from Miami to Modesto as they prepare to release their full-length debut, Party Rock. We had a quick chat with the boys about the Black Eyed Peas, basketball and their off-the-wall fashion sense.

Dre Kroon has retired and is now residing in Santa Barbara. He has plans to come out of retirement for a Party Rock produced EP.

Red, you made a guest appearance on Black Eyed Peas' first album. Are you cool with them?

We are definitely cool with BEP. We are actually signed to Will I Am's label. As for collabs, the Boom Boom Pow remix is already in clubs.

Every day is a party for LMFAO. “Why have a double life where you dress in a suit and then you go out and get crazy? We’re just like, ‘Let’s just do it all the time,’” explains producer and rapper Red Foo, who created LMFAO with nephew Sky Blue in 2007.

With their gravity-defying 'fros, bright clothes and raunchy club anthem, I'm in Miami Trick, Hollywood-based LMFAO have become the latest MySpace sensations to take over clubs from coast to coast. "I'm in Miami Trick," an electro-hip hop jam about "drinking all day and partying all night," is a good example of the group's brand of "Nu '80s" music, which they describe as a fusion of hip hop, electronica, and old-school funk. Think Chromeo mixed with Kid Cudi and you're not far off.

After dropping popular remixes of Kanye West's Love Lockdown and Katy Perry's Hot and Cold, the pair leveraged its popularity into a deal with Interscope Records and, most recently, an appearance on Last Call with Carson Daly. For the limelight-loving duo, who release their debut album, Party Rock, in the Spring, this is just the beginning: "We want to be so big that we can't even walk down the street."
