Hundreds of thousands of Iranians continue to take to the streets to protest what many view as a stolen election. The government of Iran has cut off media, Internet and mobile phone access. President Obama said he was "deeply troubled" by the violence.

The U.S. will break from previous policy to join direct talks between the U.N., the European Union and Iran to discuss Iran's nuclear program. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: "There's nothing more important than trying to convince Iran to cease its efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon."
