Meanwhile, Cuba is asking the European Union not to make such a big deal about the dictatorship's human rights abuses.

Meanwhile, fellow dictator President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan has suffered an electoral defeat in that nation's first free elections since 1999. Pakistan,which borders Afghanistan, is believed by some to be at the heart of the War on Terror.
