On January 7, 1978, Dolores "Lola" Sanchez sees "Saturday Night Fever" at the Jackson Triplex in Jackson Heights, Queens. Inspired, she eventually attends the LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. In 1983, she gets her big break as the understudy to Bombalurina in Cats.
