Monday, September 9, 1996. First period: study hall. Gisselle Polchek, formerly of Montclair, New Jersey, is looking out the window, bored, counting palm trees, when Ms. David begins to call attendance. "Beatriz Camacho, Jimena Garcia, Ana Gloria Lopez, Gisselle Polchek." Feeling the fire of 48 eyes burning through her like lasers, Gisselle blurts out "It's Gisela," quickly adding "my mother's Colombian." Though unable to prevent the laughter that follows, she succeeds in becoming the first Gisselle-to-Gisela in over a century.

mi escuela es mostly white.. its like 3000 students with 33 mexicans, and 6 backs.. y para mi es egaul siempre tengo que estar corijiendo a mis teachers.. so se me hace chido que la chava le haya dicho a su teacher que no manche..

MAN AT MY SKOOL THERES MOSTLY BLACK AND HISPANICS AND ITS RARE WHEN U SEE WHITE PPL...ALL THE TEACHERS R BLACK SO THEY KOOL "SOMETIMES".N E WHERE U GO U HEAR CURSE WORDS AND ALL OF DAT SO MO CITY MIDDLE SKOOL IS LIKE REALLY GHETTO.

Mi escuela esta bien pendeja!! No manches ahi puro GRINGO!! Tbm ahi mexicanos y negros, pero la neta los maestros se pasan son bien racistas!!!! Pero ni modo ya q... pero ami me vale madre la balazera!! Van a ver q luego Nosotros los hispanos vamos a ser q los gringos se traguen sus palabras!!!! Y ARRIBA MEXICO!!! Y TODA LA GENTE DE GUADALAJARA!!!

yea i know where this gurl's coming from .... i hated it when teachers called roll and pronounced my name "Letisha" instead of LETICIA. i always corrected them too... my school is mostly whites and but it has 15 percent latinos. i just think its good to teach the teachers how to pronouce names correctly, that way if they happen to have future latino students with the same name they know how to say it.. GOOD FOR HER...! : )

My school is f***ing stupid too! Son como 300 gringos y nadamas tres mexicanas it sucks!! and they always say my last name wrong enves de decir Rangel dicen wrangel o algo asi

neta k i feel u raza. n mi eschool tambien ahi puro gringos y todos son d mucho dinero y fresas (pero usan el dinero pa tapar sus adicciones) we una eschool chica pero do 1300 estudiantes somos ni 20 mexicanos y 10 negros. y como todo no teacher sabe pronounce el name ryt, not even los maestros de 'espanol' pero un dia estos gringos gonna c how we gonna take ova! ja

well, at my school, there's mostly black people!!!no offence, but they get on my nerves.like they're all either in a gang, lokkin 4 someone to have sex wit, nerds, or somethin like dat!!!and there's only like 5 mexicans in my grade.and like 3 of them are nerdy and the rest are alwayz tryin to fight somebody!!!and there's like a few white people too, but they swear they black.don't think i'm racist or anything, but i HATE MY SCHOOL!!!i can't wait until i start high school, there's a few more mexicans dat i already know.

well at my skool there is more mexicas!!!!! so i love my skool!!!
