A Colombian teacher tells the BBC how she and "90 percent of people" in her town were scammed out of hundreds of thousands of dollars: "People want a better life. It wasn't just the poor who did this, some very rich people put money in too." Colombia declared a state of "social emergency" on Monday.

Talk about putting too much trust in people....thats messed up how they give people hope for a better life and then just screw them over so they end up worse than how they started...

1st of these ppl r dumb cuz this has bin happening 4 a while. alomost a year and the news in colombia has been telling the public not 2 invest their money in2 it. they just dont learn their lesson.
