Republican presidential candidate John McCain announced he is suspending his campaign to focus on resolving the U.S. financial crisis and has asked Democrat Barack Obama to do the same. McCain also suggested postponing their first presidential debate, which was scheduled for tomorrow. Obama rejected McCain's proposal and says the debate should go on as planned: "This is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person who in approximately 40 days will be responsible for dealing with this mess."

i think McCain had a good idea with good intentions but it was executed wrong... cause if we can get this passed the US Economy would get a huge much needed boost!
