Drug violence has killed 5,000 people in México over the last two years, according to Mexican newspaper El Universal. The number of deaths in the last eight months has already surpassed last year's total number of killings.

Yeah the violence just seems to escalate as the government trys to put a hold on the cartels.... Dude just wont give.....i also think that number seems kinda low i would of guessed higher
