people see it as a race thing or latinos taking over, i see it as an advantage for our next generation...
it is only smart for it to be required, bilinguals have better chances at careers etc etc
i think its a great idea!!!
we should all be open to new things that make our lives better in some sense ;]

Yeah definitely he's gonna get sht for that comment. I don't want everyone to know Spanish tho. I like how Latinos have their own thing. Plus, in my experience when white people speak Spanish to Latinos, it seems very patronizing.

In my experience when white people know Spanish and speak to Latinos, it comes off as very patronizing. And anyway I like that I can speak to friends and other people don't know what we're saying! Obama will definitely get Shizz for that comment.
