Juan Carlos Ramirez Abadia, a Colombian drug lord who allegedly shipped 550 tons of cocaine to the U.S., was sentenced to over 30 years in prison for crimes committed in Brazil. Ramirez says he would like to be extradited to the U.S., where he faces racketeering charges, because he "fears for his life."
