Over 10 million immigrants have entered the U.S. – half of them illegally – in the last seven years, according to a report by the Center for Immigration Studies. CIS has previously published reports critical of current immigration trends and policies. The report contradicts a 2005 study by the Pew Hispanic Center that found immigration peaked in 2000 and slowly declined throughout the next five years.
