President Barack Obama announced he will withdraw all U.S. troops in Afghanistan by July of 2011. This year, however, he will deploy an additional 30,000 soldiers to the now eight year-old conflict. Military officials say although a withdrawal date has been set, it is not guaranteed the war will be over by that date.

I say we let him borrow all of those 30,000 troops, which means that he will have to make sure that they all get returned back safely & unharmed

hopefully it does end by 2011....and take out those troops from iraq..they dont belong there...put them in afganistan

As much as I would like for the war to be over by that time, I don't see that happening. This war is endless and impossible to win unless everyone leaves. But if Obama thinks this is the best idea, he can go ahead and I hope it works out.
