Richmond, California police say they have arrested five suspects in the gang rape of a 15-year-old high school student. As many as 20 people are believed to have witnessed the crime. Richmond Police Lieutenant Mark Gagan: "We do not have the ability to arrest people who witnessed the crime and did nothing. The law can be very rigid."

i agree. in this case i definetly have to say an eye for an eye. If people witnessed this and did nothing to stop it they should feel what she felt like at the moment.

That's what I hated about high school. Someone coulda beat the sh*t outta someone and thrown them down the stairs, and ppl will just watch to see wtf happens. :S
