Migrants from Central America who cross México to get to the United States are now faced with a new mortal danger: kidnappers who hold them for ransom. Nearly 10,000 immigrants attempting to make it to the U.S. were kidnapped in Mexico between February of '08 and '09, according to Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission.

wow that sucks for them....they should work hard in their countries and save the money they make and use it to come legally so they wont have 2 worry about gettin kidnapped

yup from what i heard normally they ask for a 100,000 peso ransom which transltates to about 7,500 US dollars....
