The Centers for Disease Control expects the swine flu to "spread widely" across the U.S. and is asking pregnant women to take extra precautions as they are at higher risk to succumb to complications from the H1N1 virus.

This event is going to be epic. But who is to say we aren't over reacting? It could be like the regular flu which kills around the same number of people every year.
