The Mexican government has rejected an offer of a "national peace pact" from a man claiming to be the leader of the powerful "La Familia" drug cartel. Interior Minister Fernando Gomez Mont: "We will not give in to blackmail."

i wouldn't be surprised if they accepted it, the government is scared of the mexican drug cartels

Yup ! la familia has had a quick rise to power but they still have longs way to go 3 cartels still have more power than them.... The Zetas, Sinaloa and Gulf cartels still cover more ground.... but they have had a shocking and violent rise to power
