I don't see why this shouldn't be a priority ?
After all, they say serial killers start out by killing small animals...so if they catch the person now then they can avoid him becoming the next Ed Gein or something.

wat!?! a cat killer? seriously? why would someone even waste their time? and the police offer that much money for a CAT KiLLER? why not worse crimes? gosh so many questions
