Why shouldn't they be allowed to??? I mean if your worried that they might harm their child i get that but the likelihood of that happening are almost the same as a "normal" mom doing it. I've heard cases of "normal" non inmate moms that hurt and or kill their babies so whats the difference!? The place or the title of this place? Home is where you make it. But asides from the place and it's tilte there are instances where jail is better then some of the homes that these babies are raised in. At least in jail you'll know that they wont be exposed to drugs, alcohol or domestic violence. And to some extent Jorge C. is right ya if they commited murder depending on the severity & circumstances they shouldn't be able to have the privilage of raising their infants due to the risk of harm. And i c that you talk about it not being a good way to grow up...like not good growing up with your mom, like not good growing up with people to care for you if you need it, like not good growing up with a roof over your head, like not good growing up with something to eat when your hungry...ect...sounds good to me! Plus as children get older any place with rules, curfews, boundaries or whatevers seem to think of it as a prison and feel captive and entrapped all or some of the time so why not it be an actual prison that their in, plus + once your old enough if there was relatives or other loved ones im pretty sure you'd be able to go live with them. It's not like you'd be charged with being an accessory to your mothers crime.
M just saying.
oh wow i just saw this on tv how indian women raise their chidren in prison bc they feel that a connection between a mother n child is very important so they dont want to miss out on that, plus the mother feels that they are in better care wit them then in the streets on india where a lot of kids are homeless n have to fend for themselves
r u NUTZ !!!!!!!
