The Los Angeles Times profiles the increasing violence in El Salvador, a country that averaged 12 murders a day the first three months of this year. The murder rate in El Salvador is five times higher than México and 10 times higher than the U.S.

The crazy thing is that everyone doesn't blame it on the alcohol! They blame it on the gangs when in reality it's rogue police officers, private security guards or mercenaries! It's easy to point the blame onto someone or something else isn't!?

well i think el salvador wants to be noticed , mexico has the swine flu thingy and drug wars, the us has the recession thing , africa has the genocides going on , We are all forgetting about the little country...El Salvador(such a drama queen)

well..........la neta, it is the gang violence thats causing all the trouble in el salvador. Random people are being robbed,assaulted,battered just because these gagng members feel like doing wahtever they want. It is uncomfortable walking in the streets out there. I mean this mareros will even take ur shoes.....its no joke....i saw it when i was over there....and the police seems 2 scared 2 do something about it...
