Abraham Quintanilla, father of the late Tejano star Selena, has confirmed that three family-owned Selena boutiques will close their doors due to the slumping economy. The Selena Etc, Inc. stores, which featured Selena-inspired clothes and merchandise, were located in Corpus Christi, Houston and San Antonio, Texas.

Sorry to disappoint you Joe-See but the way they used "Tejano" in the sentence is right because their referring to el genero and not her. But ya it is sad to all the fans that wear her inspired clothing n' i say that just cuz im a fan but i don't wear her clothing so im not at all disappointed. That sucks that Selenas ex-husbands now ex-wife be the main reason for the close of these boutiques but the family is just blaming it on the economy, the real victim being the economy being used as an escape goat!

mmmm well i belive they were going down before bad economy started. so that sux. many stores are going out of business, so this is just like sayin "next" (and another store going down).
