- Chris Brown has agreed to plead guilty to assaulting Rihanna in a deal that will require him to perform 180 days of community service and spend five years on probation. Brown will also attend domestic violence counseling.
- President Obama says the U.S. is ready for any threats from North Korea, which will reportedly test a long-range missile on or near the Fourth of July: "I want ... to give assurances to the American people that the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted in terms of what might happen."
- Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina has been charged with assault after he punched gossip blogger Perez Hilton outside of a Toronto nightclub. Hilton, who is openly gay, admitted to calling will.i.am a "f****t" during an earlier confrontation in the club. Both Perez and will.i.am released videos about the incident.
