- Living in a neighborhood with dirty air may lower kids' IQs, according to the Harvard School of Public Health.
- Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are both aggressively pursuing an endorsement from former presidential candidate and undercover Mexican-American Bill Richardson. The governor of New Mexico says he's "genuinely torn" between the two.
- Comedian George Lopez is campaigning for Democrat Barack Obama in El Paso, Texas, weeks after complaining that neither Obama or Hillary Clinton had reached out to him for support.
- The amount of young voters (age 30 and under) has doubled or tripled from previous elections in many of the early primaries and caucuses, according to a survey by Rock the Vote.
- Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom announced that the country's military archives will be opened to the public. An estimated 250,000 civilians were killed or disappeared in Guatemala's 36-year civil war which ended a over decade ago.

- The number of 16-year-olds with driver's licenses has dropped from half to one-third, according to the Federal Highway Administration.
- Take Two Interactive, makers of the popular Grand Theft Auto video game series, have told Electronic Arts, makers of Medal of Honor, Rock Band and Madden, that a $2 billion buyout offer is "the wrong price at the wrong time."
