- Iced out: hip hop popsicles.
- There are over one million American men and 800,000 women between the ages of 25 and 45 who have never had sex, according to a survey by Michael Eisenberg of the University of California, San Francisco. The survey found "no association" with virginity and "weight, income and health."
- Critics are bashing cereal maker Kellogg's for claiming their cereal can boost the immunity of a child. NYU Professor Marion Nestle: "The idea that eating Cocoa Krispies will keep a kid from getting swine flu, or from catching a cold, doesn't make sense."
- Cereals marketed directly to children "have 85% more sugar, 65% less fiber, and 60% more sodium than cereals marketed to adults for adult consumption" according to researchers at the Yale University’s Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity.
