- A 23-year-old teacher from Minneapolis who has been documenting her pregnancy on the web says she will broadcast the birth of her child live on the Internet.
- A Louisiana justice of the peace has resigned weeks after he refused to marry a couple because the bride was white and the groom was black. The former justice, a white man named Keith Bardwell, said at the time he would usually recuse himself of performing marriages for mixed couples because it would "affect their kids." His decision was controversial.
- Demi Lovato says she was bullied in middle school after she became a celebrity. The teen actress and singer has helped launch the bullying prevention site teensagainstbullying.org.
