UPS stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply – it's power that never goes out.
UPS devices are like big batteries that you can plug important devices into. That way, even if the power goes out, the connected device can keep running for a few minutes. They're great for computers!
Just plug the UPS into an electrical outlet and then plug your computer – or ventilator – into the UPS. You can find a UPS at any electronic store for about $50.
